About His Holiness, Ceylon, And The Fellowship

Ceylon, which is now called Sri Lanka, is a small island located just off the tip of India. This is where His Holiness lived prior to coming to America in 1971.  From 1971 to 1986 His Holiness commuted back and forth between Ceylon and America, attending to His disciples both in America and Ceylon until He physically left the world on December 8, 1986.

His Holiness is buried in America just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in a small area establish by His Holiness for the burial of His Children in America, which has become affectionately known as "The Farm".

Over the place of His burial, the Children of His Holiness have built a shine, called a Mazar, as an act of love, devotion, and respect for His Holiness.  This Mazar or shrine has become a place of pilgrimage for people throughout the world, and all are welcome.

Click HERE to go to the Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship Web Site (www.bmf.org) to learn more about His Holiness, the Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship, and the Mazar, as well as the Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Mosque, that was established in Philadelphia by His Holiness in 1984.

My love you (anbu) - Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Louie Beutler)
